Good Memory in Applebee's

  Last week, I went to Applebee’s with my classmate Woo. It’s a sweet place, because the light is a little dim. When I was in front of the main gate, I could smell the food clearly and it really made me hungrier. Most of the clientele are university friends. Some couples and families also come here to enjoy the fine food and good company of their friends. Applebee's has country music playing in the background and three televisions playing the latest sports match. It's a wonderful ambiance for a university student to kick-back and enjoy a delicious meal.

  The menu includes plenty of foods, which have different flavors and ingredients, such as salads, steaks, chicken, pastas, burgers, sandwiches, and also desserts. Woo and I chose from the special menu, which has the lower price than others. You can choose one appetizer from four choices, and select two main dishes from eight options for two people. Our selection was the boneless Buffalo wings for our appetizer and a 7 oz. House sirloin and a double crunch shrimp. The appetizer was sweet, but not too much. The shrimp was our favorite, because it's crisp and fresh.

  One special thing is that it has a spectacular bar, which contains lots of wines. Both Woo and I are under 21, so we didn’t approach it. So, we just had some water. What a pity! What made us happy was that the price at Applebee's is inexpensive. Most of the dishes are under 20 dollars, and our special menu was only 20 dollars in total. I think it’s affordable for students. In addition, the service is pretty nice and fast. You do not need to wait for a long time, even if there are many customers.
