Canes

Page history last edited by Alyssa Ruesch 15 years, 5 months ago

Raising a dog and a restaurant, how are they related? That is what you will find in raising canes chicken fingers. A nice restaurant with a simple decor, not too fancy but not ugly. It suits college students; Simple, delicious and not too pricey.

I'm still not sure what raising a dog and a restaurant have in common.  I think you should come up with a better hook.  Also, capitalize the name of the restaurant.  Is it just Canes?  Or is Raising Canes Chicken Fingers?

It is right (I think "true" would be a better word choice) that they don't have a various choosing (you could say "diverse menu" or "a wide varitey of items on the menu") menu, but for me that is better so you don't keep thinking what to eat and choose your meal faster. Most of the meals are chicken fingers if not all of them, but the difference is in the number of fingers or what comes with the chicken like French fries or sauces.  (What do you usually order? What does it taste like? Do you like it?)

You can barely find anything over $10 for one meal. It is one of the best places to have a bite between classes. It is located on Washington Avenue in the U of M campus, next to Chipotle (the Mexican restaurant), across the road. (Is it next to Chipotle, or is Chipotle across the road - this part is a bit confusing)

I'd like to know more details about your experience at this restaurant.  What do you usually order?  What kind of drinks do they serve?  Desserts?  Is the food good?  Is it high-quality?  What about the service?  Is it quick or is it slow?

I suggest that you re-read the assignment sheet and use at least 8 new descriptive terms in this review.  Also, the review should be 250 - 300 words.

Restaurant Review

What restaurant does this review describe?  Where is it located?  Was this information easy to find?  If not, give the writer some suggestions for improvement.

Does the introduction paragraph grab your attention?  How?  Does the writer need to be more descriptive to catch your attention?

Do you have a clear image of what the restaurant is like (who goes to the restaurant, the atmosphere, service, price, etc.)?  Does the writer need more details in order to describe the restaurant?  Be specific; what would you like to know more about?  Can you think of words or phrases that might be more descriptive?

Do you have a clear image of what kind of food the restaurant serves and whether or not the food is good or bad?  Does the writer need more details in order to describe the food?

Is there anything the writer could be more clear about?  Be specific; make specific suggestions.

Do you have any more comments to help the writer with their review?
